I have learned the operational practice, production techniques, studio and location operational skills, computer applications and an introduction to the technology of television.I aim to continue developing my skills in vision mixing, camerawork, editing, sound and lighting to a senior level. September 1996-July 2003 Enfield County School Here I did a practical and research based Media Studies course where I learned the skill of textual analysis and understanding the concept of representation. I also had to have a broad knowledge and understanding of media institutions, technologies and the issues of audience consumption and reception. AS/A- Level: 4 A-levels were taken with 3 passes G.C.S.E: Six A-C Grades Work Experience: While at Ravensbourne I have taken part in many productions and worked as a PA, Director and Vision Mixer, Floor Manager, a Cameraman Auction World: In this work experience I observed how the gallery and studio operated. I had a chance to operate a camera in the mornings. I had also assisted the floor manager and I loaded and broadcasted the advertisements between the auctions. ITN: I shadowed the technical director (Vision Mixer/Director) for most of the time I was in that placement. I also spent time in, Camera, Lighting, Sound, Location, MCR and Post-Production. TAPPS: Floor Manager and VT OP. Shooting pilot episodes of a Drama and Comedy to be commissioned by BBC and Channel 4. Exposure Magazine: I created articles aimed at teenagers. Writing film, music and TV reviews. This was distributed in Westminster, Enfield and Haringey. One Voice Radio Training: I was trained to drive a fully operational radio desk. This included all the technical aspects as well as write and produce my own show for 2 hour slots. World Music Organisation: I was apart of a band singing Bob Marley songs. We performed at outdoor summer events organised by the local council. Interest/Hobbies:I love doing Poi (which is a Maori weapon that has been developed into a fire dance) walking, juggling..
